Ever increasing levels of stress, obesity, eating salty and processed food, lack of exercise are one of the major reasons for the blood pressure to rise.  Raised blood pressure usually gives no symptoms and goes undetected, and silently damages your heart. Blood pressure monitoring is important because the higher your blood pressure, the higher your risk of health problems in the future.  If your blood pressure is high, it is putting extra strain on your arteries and on your heart.

Thus examining blood pressure at every visit is one of our mandates.

At our clinic, we are equipped to do a spot HbA1c testing which requires only a drop of blood and provide you with immediate test results. This test can be done at any time of the day, does not require fasting or post-meal conditions.  These results are further analysed and course of treatment is planned out.

Glycosylated hemoglobin blood test gives you an average of your 3 months of blood sugar control. It is considered the gold standard for assessing the complications and treatment of your diabetes.

We are equipped to do a spot
urine test which is a non-invasive method of checking kidney function. Kidneys are one of the organs which are affected due to uncontrolled sugars. By simply checking the urine one can know the presence of blood sugar in urine, ketones (indicates high blood sugar), presence of infection in the urinary tract. Furthermore, the presence of protein (albumin) in the urine is also tested which indicates the filtering capacity of the kidneys and the extent of damage to the kidneys.

If timely treatment is not started, it can result in kidney complications ultimately leading to kidney failure.

Diabetes is a disease of fat.

We perform this test at our clinic to understand the body fat and body muscle percentage of the patient. This is again a non-invasive test giving immediate results.

One of the prime steps in a reversal of diabetes is to reduce fat percentage and increase muscle percentage in the body.

People with diabetes can, over time, develop nerve damage throughout the body. Some people with nerve damage have no symptoms. Others may have symptoms such as pain, tingling, or numbness, loss of feeling in the hands, arms, feet, and legs.
